Travelling to or from Orly airport by bus or coach is easy as there are several services connecting with Paris city centre. Bus is also one of the cheapest and the easiest transport options. ORLYBUS is the special RATP (Official Transport for Paris network) bus service that links Paris Orly airport and downtown Paris. Service is operated every day and runs approximately from 5.35am to 12pm. Bus is serving both terminals.
Duration: Travel time varies from 25 to 35 minutes depending on road traffic.
Frequency: Frequency is one bus every 10 to 15 minutes depending on hour.
Stations: The Orlybus station downtown Paris is located Place Denfert-Rochereau in the 14th district.
Tickets price: A one way ticket costs 8€.
An additional bus line connects Paris to Orly airport (Line 183) departing from Porte de Choisy (Southern limit of the city). Ticket costs 2€ but service is less frequent than Orlybus and travel time often exceeds 45 minutes.
Le Bus Direct was previously named Cars Air France. The name has changed with the owner (Aerolis) but the service is somehow the same with 4 lines connecting Roissy de Gaulle, Orly airport and Paris city center. Le Bus Direct airport coaches offer great level of comfort and free wifi aboard. This high quality bus service is however not as cheap as Orlybus. Service is operated 7 days a week. Lines 1 connects the airport to city center. Line 2 offers a direct connection between Orly and Roissy.
Duration: Travel time is usually between 45 and 70 minutes depending on road traffic.
Frequency: Frequency is one bus every 20 minutes between 5am and 22.30pm
Stations: 4 stops in central Paris. Etoile-Champs-Elysées, Trocadéro, Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse train station.
Tickets price: A one way ticket costs 12€.
A night bus service is also operated by RATP. A few lines serve the airport departing from Chatelet, Gare de Lyon and Gare de l'Est train stations. Night bus service runs from 0.30am to 5am. Travel time is usually 45 minutes. Price is 6 € or 3 T+ subway tickets.
