Getting to & from Paris Orly airport by train

Train between the airport and city center

Train is a convenient and cheap mean of transport however senior citizens, travellers with heavy luggage, disabled persons or families with small children in tow should be aware of the long way ahead to city center.

Orlyval + RER B

First option is to take the Orlyval automated shuttle to Antony station and then the RER B commuter train to Paris city center.

Orlyval shuttles run from 6.00am to 11.35 pm and RER B trains from 5am to 11.50pm.

Duration: The transfer time approximates 45 minutes depending on your station downtown Paris.
Frequency: One train every 5 to 10 minutes.
Stations: 2 Orlyval stations at the airport (serving terminals West and South). 7 stations downtown Paris including Gare du Nord Train station and Chatelet.
Tickets price: A one way ticket costs 12.05€.

Shuttle Bus + RER C

From Orly airport the second option is to take the "GO C Paris" shuttle bus heading to Pont de Rungis station and then the RER C train to Paris city center.

Bus shuttles run from 5.00am to 11.30 pm and RER C trains from 5am to 0.30am.

Duration: The transfer time is usually about 50-60 minutes depending on your station downtown Paris.
Frequency: One train every 5 to 10 minutes.
Stations: 2 bus stations at the airport (serving terminals West and South). 10 stations downtown Paris including Gare d'Austerlitz train station, Saint Michel - Notre Dame and Invalides.
Tickets price: A one way ticket costs 6.25€.
